The Word of God says that an individual will not be able to buy or sell except he or she takes the mark of the beast. If the individual takes the mark of the beast, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God (Rev. 13:16, 17; Rev. 14:10). Therefore, I strongly suggest to the reader of this book to start stocking food and water in preparation for that spoken of day. Throughout the Word of God, humanity and deity has worked together. One given example is found in I Kings chapter 17. Elijah who stood upon the Word of God said there would be neither “dew nor rain” throughout the land. Because of the drought, famine then occurred and God sent Elijah to a widow woman’s home. Elijah told the widow to make him a cake using her last morsel of bread along with the little oil that she owned. Now this woman was desperate because this was all that she and her son had to eat. I Kings 17:13-15 states:
(v. 13) And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. (v. 14) For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. (v. 15) And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
Elijah wanted the woman to utilize all that she had, according to the will of the Lord. When she, through faith, obeyed God’s spoken Word, God then intervened on her behalf to bless her and her family. Another example of God’s faithfulness, through mankind’s obedience is found in Gen. ch. 41. According to the will of the Lord, Joseph instructed humanity to store food in preparation of the famine that was to come. God’s blessing was seen only after the people through faith harkened unto God’s Word. Again, humanity and deity worked together.
